Peter Kellett works in a new modern art medium, Anodized Aluminum. In simple terms the painting is in the metal. The aluminum is anodized and acts like paper absorbing the dyes. Having been on the cover of Metal Finishing magazine three times Mr Kellett is considered the expert in this process. Having owned an anodize shop for 30 years and working on the artistic side for over 20 years Kellett brings a wealth of experience to the medium. He has worked with the top three major guitar manufacturers and his work has been included in four guitar books and two calendars. He recently did a series of anodized paintings of Jimmy Page for Gibson. His latest project is with Epiphone, doing a John Lennon limited edition. Says Kellett" I am excited and honored that the folks at Epiphone would give me such a plum, John Lennon and the Beatles, it does not get any better than that.
